Jonathan attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston Massachusetts earning an Associate’s Degree in Construction Science. His education then continued at Clemson University in Clemson South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. After finishing college Jon began working in Restaurant Management, eventually running multi unit restaurant groups and micro breweries. He then started a consulting business focusing on new restaurant openings and updating operating systems, service protocols and improving profitability. Jon was approached by David Morgan (Calsaway President) to help develop technologies and mechanical systems for the Calsaway Process. Currently Jon is involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of Calsaway, including implementing the Calsaway Process, employee and client management, pool maintenance and repair, and customer development.

Prior to Calsaway, David worked as the Product Development Chemist for Stratco, Inc in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stratco is an engineering company developing technologies for the petro-chemical industry with emphasis on lubricating greases, high alkylate gasoline, biodiesel fuels and rubber and polymer modified asphalt. Preceding Stratco, he held the position of Laboratory and Pretreatment Manager as well as Environmental Compliance Supervisor for Praxair Surface Technologies in Phoenix, Arizona. Before coming to Arizona, David held the position of Applications and Research Development Chemist for Praxair industrial gasses research facility in Chicago, IL. He also held a position as an analytical chemist in a “class four” waste water purification facility outside of Chicago which treated sixty-four (64) millions gallons of both industrial and residential waste water per day.

Ken has a BS in Kinesiology and Pre-Physical Therapy from Arizona State University. He also has twelve years of business, marketing and sales experience. Calsaway is the second business that he has helped start.

Prior to Calsaway, Ken owned a different business that he later sold, and he has taught business/marketing classes. He is currently involved in various networking groups and is a co-founder of the Green Roundtable with the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Ken is involved with building successful relationships between Calsaway and other business professionals. This includes partnerships with government agencies, other pool professionals and “green” businesses as Ken has dedicated a lot of his time in sustainability practices.
